I can't help but share my feedback about the wonderful people at Seattle Envelopes and their incredible support for everyone in need. When we first arrived in the United States in 2022, Seattle Envelopes was the first place we turned to for adult English classes. They offer regular groups for both adults and children, providing not only English lessons but also a space for communication and support for those who need it. They frequently host “Let Me Learn” meetings with various specialized professionals, which are incredibly helpful for newcomers to understand the nuances of different professions in the United States.
A special, incredibly big THANK YOU to Nelli for her advice and help with my daughter's college application and financial aid for tuition. Even now, Nelli always finds time to answer my many questions about both of my daughters' education as well as my own education and employment. I am deeply grateful for her openness and kindness.

I want to share my experience with "Seattle Envelopes" and especially with Nelli. Our family came to the USA without any relatives. The war in Ukraine destroyed our home and our lives. We've faced many hardships, and even here, despite the peace, we felt weighed down by our struggles. It's hard when there's no support. At our lowest point, we met Nelli. Something terrible happened: our 6-year-old son was bullied at school for months. Then, two kids pushed him so hard he fell, lost consciousness, and got a concussion. There were emergency visits, doctors, treatments, fear, tears, and despair. But then Nelli stepped in! She gave us a lot of advice and attended school district meetings with us. She supported us both emotionally and physically. "Seattle Envelopes" helped us with everything we needed at that moment. Everything was given with great love.
We know this wasn't done from an abundance of money, but from an abundance of love and understanding. In today's world, these people stand out as exceptionally kind. It's a different feeling when your tears come from happiness, knowing that a miracle is close by. And that miracle is called "Seattle Envelopes." Thank you all so much for everything you do! Special thanks to the person who started this movement! May God multiply your kindness and return it to you many times over! You are the best!
Ukrainian Family
I joined English as a Second Language group at Seattle Envelopes in February 2024. My teacher Tanya is responsive, attentive, and tactful, she is always making the learning process engaging with a variety of modern methods and techniques.
Tanya creates a positive and emotional atmosphere, uses internet resources effectively, and tailors her teaching approach to individuals, often working in pairs and groups. Her lessons spark a genuine interest in learning English and inspire a desire to know more and do better. I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to be one of Tanya's students!

First of all, I'm truly grateful for everything Seattle Envelopes do. Our English as a Second Language lessons are rich in content, and our teacher Tanya is remarkably creative in her approach. They're never dull. I've noticed considerable progress in the students' learning. Tanya is compassionate and subtly demanding, creating a comfortable atmosphere for everyone. She can engage even the most passive students and has a keen intuition for understanding people. I believe her approach is very effective.

Six months ago, I started taking English classes with Tatyana. It was my first time learning the language. Now, I can talk to people using simple words: I can share about myself, my country, my hobbies, and my culture. I can also translate texts in children's books and announcements. This progress is all thanks to Tatyana. Her energy, ability to engage with the group, and respect for everyone made a big difference for us. I am very happy to have found these courses. I am 88 years old, but I attend the classes with great interest. Thank you, Nelli, for organizing the classes, providing the books, keeping the rooms clean, and ensuring the lessons are quiet. I am eager to continue learning at the next level.
