Donating gently used furniture, clothing, or household goods after a move or spring cleaning can transform the living conditions of families starting anew.
Such contributions not only give your belongings a second life but also offer comfort and a sense of home to those who have left much behind. Please contact us with the items you have in mind (including photos), and we’ll have you connected with a family in need.
We have an Amazon Wishlist with currently needed items for you to choose from. After receiving items in our office, our volunteers will deliver them directly to the families in need.

You are also welcome to purchase similar items anywhere else (Costco, Target, Walmart) and bring them to our office in Redmond:

8275 166th Ave NE, Suite 202, Redmond, WA 98052

You can also consider general monetary donations. Thank you for your generous support!
Support Us by Donating
to Small Threads!
We’ve launched a Seattle Envelopes account with Small Threads for Kids – a local consignment store that accepts children’s clothing, toys, furniture, and gear. Now you can support our project simply by dropping off gently used items!

All Small Threads locations are participating:
WHAT THEY ACCEPT
  • Baby and kids’ clothing
  • Toys
  • Children's furniture and gear

HOW TO DONATE
You can drop off up to 6 items without an appointment or up to 35 items with an appointment. The store sets the prices and handles the sales.
HOW IT WORKS
  • You bring your items to Small Threads and mention the Seattle Envelopes account
  • 40% of the sale proceeds go to our account
  • We use the credit to purchase needed items for families in our community
Special thanks to our friend and project supporter Nastya for the idea and launch of this partnership!
Items always needed
  • Office paper
We always need office paper for printing educational materials, including worksheets and handouts for our free lessons.
  • Household essentials
When refugees arrive in a new country, they often start with very little. Please help us provide the necessities required for a stable home life, like paper, cleaning and laundry products.
  • Portable Electronics
We fix donated old laptops and cell phones, and provide them to the families to help them stay connected.
  • pet food
Some families arrive with pets that provide emotional support during the stressful transition. By supplying pet food you help ease the financial burden on refugees.
