Elementary Schools in the US

School Integration Support
We are excited to continue our series of workshops for parents, focusing on elementary school education in America. We've received numerous requests for a seminar specifically for parents of elementary school students, so we're pleased to announce that it will take place on Friday, March 1st, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The session will be led by Irena Furmanova, a certified ELL teacher and former elementary educator; Nelly Tkach, a child and adolescent psychologist and educational consultant; and Maria Darskaya, an ELL paraeducator.

During the workshop, we'll cover a range of important topics, including:

  • Expected behavior for children and parents in elementary schools
  • Helping young students adjust to a new school environment
  • Understanding lottery schools and programs for gifted students
  • The differences between private and public elementary schools
  • Elementary school ratings and the college admissions process

Our aim is to provide you with a comprehensive overview of the elementary education landscape, helping you understand the key terms and potential challenges. Join us for an informative evening!
