Orientation Workshops
On May 15th at 7 PM (19:00), Evelyn Bogdanski and Masha Makarenkova will talk about internships at tech companies, including a non-profit organization, Amazon, and Microsoft. This meeting will be held in English.

Key topics we will discuss:
- Internship application;
- Companies requirements to interns;
- Interviewing process;
- Ideal interns - do they exist?
- Thriving tips from an outstanding intern!

Eveline is from Highland Park, Illinois. She graduated from Indiana University with MBA in financial analysis and BS in accounting, finance, and operations management. Throughout college, Eveline interned in various tech companies. Starting with a tech startup for nonprofit management, followed by operations finance at Amazon, and finally at Microsoft! Outside of work, Eveline runs marathons, hikes around the northwest and does backpacking travel across new countries.

Masha is from Tashkent, Uzbekistan; she graduated with а Master’s degree in Economics from Samara State University and with an MBA from Michael G. Foster School of Business, (University of Washington). Masha used to work as a recruiter and an executive search consultant. She is actively involved in the college recruiting process at Microsoft and is really passionate about job search and career advancement. In her free time, Masha runs the WorkChat Seattle Facebook group, which is dedicated to supporting Russian-speaking women in job search and career progression. Masha lives in Sammamish with her husband, daughter, and a dog; she loves gardening and giving back to the community.
