The U.S. Healthcare System: Levels of Care and Key Services

Community Events
If you’re new to the U.S. and want to understand how the local healthcare system works, we invite you to an informative session with Dr. Natalia Usoltseva (University of Washington Medical Center), organized by the nonprofit foundation Seattle Envelopes.

Dr. Usoltseva — a physician and Clinic Director at UW Primary Care Ballard — will explain how the medical system is structured in Washington State, where to go for different healthcare needs, how to choose a doctor, what insurance options are available, and how to navigate clinics and hospitals.

This seminar will be especially helpful for immigrants and refugees who are just beginning to explore the American healthcare system.

💬 The session will include a lecture followed by a Q&A opportunity.
