We are thrilled to announce that registration is now open for our academic and development courses for the 2026/2027 school year! Thanks to the generous support of School’s Out Washington (SOWA), participation in this project is fully subsidized. If your family meets the program criteria, you can attend any of our courses completely FREE of charge.
Eligibility Requirements
This program is specifically designed to support newly arrived immigrants and refugees. You are eligible to apply for a free spot if your family has been in the U.S. for less than 5 years and holds one of the following official statuses:

Programs & Courses Offered
1. Sciences and STEM (Math, Physics, Programming)
Mathematics (Up to Precalculus): Enrichment and school-level support classes. Individual format, for ages 6–18.
Sciences & AP Test Prep: Physics, chemistry, biology, and Calculus (all levels). Targeted preparation for high school students ahead of Advanced Placement (AP) and Computer Science (CS) exams. Individual format.
Introduction to STEM & Logic: Discovering how a computer works, basic coding concepts, working in teams to build gravity-powered mechanical calculators, and hands-on circuit building. Group classes, for teens ages 11–14.
Builders’ Workshop: Exploring the laws of physics and engineering design principles by building architectural models and mechanisms using Lego, wood, paper, and metal. Group classes, for ages 10–12 (no prior experience required).
2. English (ESL) and Speech Support
ESL for Little Kids: Learning the alphabet, basic phonics, and foundational vocabulary through interactive educational games and colorful worksheets. Group classes, for children ages 4–6.
General ESL Course: Improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills tailored perfectly to each student’s current proficiency level. Available in individual and group formats.
Advanced English (Wired for Reading): A specialized, linguistics-based approach to phonetics, grammar, and spelling designed for students with learning differences like dysgraphia or dyslexia. Taught by a certified specialist. Individual format.
Speech Tutoring: Speech development support focusing on articulation, sound correction, vocal fluency, and social communication. Individual format, for children ages 5 and up.
3. U.S. School Navigation & College Counseling
College Counseling: Comprehensive planning consultations, application support, essay writing guidance, test prep tips, and scholarship search assistance. Individual and group formats, for high schoolers and their parents.
School Navigation Seminars: Informational sessions for parents to easily navigate the U.S. K-12 education system. Topics include Financial Aid 101, understanding High School, protecting your child from bullying, and Special Education. Group format.
