Why do we search for life in the Universe? Is there a chance to contact other civilizations? And most importantly — what does all this say about ourselves?
We invite children, teens, and their parents to a meeting with Julia Brodsky — an astrobiologist at NASA, University of Maryland lecturer, and creator of science programs for schoolchildren.
Julia will talk about: • What astrobiology is and how it helps search for life beyond Earth; • How space missions work and why NASA is returning Martian soil; • How every child can start their path in science and ask their own questions to the Universe.
💬 There will be a lively discussion and opportunity to ask questions.
🎤 Julia Brodsky — astrobiologist, NASA employee, educator, and author of Art of Inquiry and Earthlings Hub programs for Ukrainian refugee children.
