^{This month at Seattle Envelopes we’re celebrating something very special —}^{Danny has finally met his service dog Darrowby!}^{Thanks to your kindness, this dream came true, and we can’t wait to share more. Along with this big news, we have new opportunities for teens, free tickets to local events, and more community updates for you.}

^{Thanks to your generosity in September 2025, we were able to:}
^{💚Help a community member who was in a car accident — we partially covered the junk yard fee and bought essential items for a new bed, including a mattress and mattress cover. Our founder, Nelli Tkach, personally provided a new bed through a third-party donation, without using Seattle Envelopes funds ($908)}
💚^{Cover office rent and purchase printing supplies for September. ($828)}
💚^{Provide grocery gift card to a woman from Ukraine who was temporarily unemployed — she’s now working again, and we sincerely congratulate her! ($200)}
💚^{Cover office essentials — tea, paper towels, trash bags, and other small supplies to prepare for the busy class season. ($200)}
💚^{Purchase backpacks, markers, colored paper, and other school supplies for kids heading back to school. ($193)}
💚^{Provide cat food for a family from Chernihiv with four cats and a dog. ($100)}
💚^{Bring piroshki and snacks for the Voters Education Fund (VEF) meeting. ($95)}

^{Remember our 2024 summer fundraiser for Danny’s service dog? Thanks to your support, it’s a reality —}^{Danny now has Darrowby!}^{We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, shared the story, and supported the project. Special thanks to our founder,}^{Nelli Tkach}^{, for uniting the community and leading this effort forward.}

^{The Hrytsov family}^{came from Ukraine seeking support, as their son Danny, who lives with autism, needed a specially trained dog for greater independence. Together, we raised $16,000 of the $40,000 program cost — and now Danny and Darrowby are starting their journey side by side. We’re excited to share the very first photos of these two new friends. Stay tuned — more updates on their progress are coming soon!}
